Before training as a dental surgeon, Murray completed a three year course in dental technology, qualifying with distinction and being named student of the year, after which he decided to study dentistry
After graduation as a dental surgeon from Sheffield University in 1997, Murray worked in Leicester before moving south to join the Meon Dental Practice in Petersfield where he remained for 9 years.
Murray joined the team at Lavant Dental Centre in June 2009. Word quickly spread of Murray's return to Petersfield, and as such he has been much sought after from day one.
Murray carries out all aspects of general dentistry and has a particular interest in cosmetic dental procedures including Implantology and the use of Soft Tissue Dental Laser, which he uses for cosmetic and surgical procedures.
Murray has also completed a course on the "Inman Aligner" which is a very gentle way to straighten front teeth in as little as 3 to 4 months using a removable brace and C'Fast fixed orthodontics. These techniques are very fast indeed compared to other methods.
Murray is popular with his patients and his sympathetic and understanding approach makes him an ideal choice for patients of a nervous disposition.
Away from the surgery Murray enjoys travelling, especially to Spain, Listening to music and eating out with friends.
